Preceding winter very cold. Strong drought with prevailing westerly winds. In the period from May to August, only 38 l/m were collected. The total production was 109 million liters of wine, and the vegetative cycle of 190 days.
Appearance: Clean, bright, medium-low deep, purple with ochre hints and gold rims.
Nose: Deep. Complex, spices, cedar and tobacco hints. Honey hints background.
Tasting: Smooth, light, and good balanced.
Aftertaste: Long and complex.
Finish: Long and elegant, notes of dry fruits.
It matches with any kind of meat and mushrooms rice. Some tasty or oily fish such as tuna or cod. Medium-aged cheese such as emmental or gruyere.
